What division is the team in…what are some short term goals?

U-10 currently, we are set to compete in the CESL 2010 Outdoor Season.

Our short team goals is  to focus on developing the players basic foundation skills and their understanding of the game to help them enjoy and learn to play the game at a high level . I believe  we can achieve that if the boys have a desire  to play and learn the game.

How long have they been working with this particular team?

The U-10 Strikers was formed during the 2009/ 2010 winter season. Since then, Coach Duke Swaby has been working to prepare the team for the 2010 spring/ summer outdoors season.

What coaching credentials have you attained?

Certified level 3 Coach.

I’m working with Byron McCormack who also have a wealth of knowledge , we look forward to training and teaching the boy to play an exciting brand of soccer.

What is your history with North Scarborough Soccer Club?

Coached for the past 10 years with NSSC. This is the second strikers team; my first team finished playing OYSL last year 2009 and (finished third in Ontario)

What are some of Goals/Aspirations you have set for your Team/ Players, which will have a positive affect on their future as players and as a person during their adult lives?

I would like to see the boys go to university on scholarships and enjoy the game for quite some time ,and they themselves will mentor other players.
for the young players enabling them to grow up and become productive individuals to society.
