NSSC Technical Training Program

North Scarborough Soccer Club is home to Scarborough’s first Advanced Soccer Development Bridging Program for competitive soccer players- both male and female.
This is an independent Technical Training program that is “OPEN” to ALL Rep level Players regardless of which club you currently play for.

Our training program is a development bridge for the more experienced player. The Select, All Star or Rep Player with previous soccer experience who wants to continue to develop their technical skills in a challenging environment.
Training is supervised by a Canadian National “A” Licence coach and by Level 3 Certified coaches, as well as Pre-B Certified Coaches.  The Program also incorporates training principles based on the “Coerver” training methods:

  • Ball Mastery
  • Passing/receiving
  • Moves 1v1
  • Speed
  • Finishing
  • Group Attack

All training sessions will adhere to the new Ontario Soccer Association LTPD program structure which mandates less emphasis on “winning games” and more on enhancing the skill development of all players.

The North Scarborough Soccer Club is committed to the concept of allowing kids to play freely.  We encourage players to play soccer beautifully- to dazzle, to impress, to show athleticism, creativity, intelligence, skill, and power. Free to make mistakes, free to try new moves, free to experiment, free to have FUN!
